At the heart of the design is a dramatic freeform lagoon-style swimming pool, carefully shaped to create multiple areas for swimming, lounging, and entertaining. Rather than simply placing a pool within the backyard, the design integrates the water, rockwork, landscaping, and architectural features into one cohesive environment.
Towering natural rock formations frame the pool and establish the foundation of the tropical lagoon aesthetic. Multiple cascading waterfalls were strategically incorporated into the rockwork, adding movement, sound, and visual interest while creating the feeling of a secluded island retreat.
A handcrafted rock grotto adds another layer of character to the pool design, transforming what could have been an ordinary swimming pool into an immersive backyard experience.
An elevated spa serves as a striking architectural element, positioned to overlook the lagoon before spilling gently into the pool below. This elevation creates a natural focal point while providing the soothing sound and movement of flowing water throughout the space.
Every detail of the pool design was intentionally considered—from the placement of individual boulders and waterfalls to the pool’s curves and the integration of tropical landscaping. Natural stone pathways and lush plantings further soften the transition between the pool and surrounding landscape.
