This tropical lagoon pool design in Fort Myers features a massive 300-square-foot natural rock grotto waterfall, lush landscaping, and natural rock paths leading you from one destination to another. Explore the elevated spa next to one of the two fire lounges with a louvered pergola overhead. Ipe wood was added to the outdoor shower and kitchen to bring a balance of warmth and modern elements as a fusion alongside the natural rock features.
Our design overcame many zoning restrictions. The initial concept was to create a rock grotto along the property line, but height restrictions created a design challenge due to additional setbacks. These restrictions led to a massive cave suspended above the pool. We were able to innovate and engineer a new structural process allowing us to span natural rock safely across any distance. You can swim from the shallow area through the rock cave and explore a deeper area with a natural rock waterfall towering above.
