The natural warm materials and clean lines of this home extend into this tropical lagoon pool. Features include a natural rock grotto, lush landscaping and a sprawling green space flows into a putting green, and a sunken fire lounge. Located in Naples, FL designed and built by Lucas Lagoons.
Located in a flood zone along a river, we had to raise the elevation for the pool to four feet. We designed a retaining wall using native limestone caprock boulders to hold back the thousands of yards of dirt we had to bring in to make the design work.
The grotto waterfall feature created a challenge as the homeowners wanted to be able to fit at least twelve people inside the waterfall cave that was built out of natural rock. To overcome this challenge, we had to engineer a structural concrete roof that was hidden inside of the natural rock that was used to create a massive support system.
